We are hiring a new Cybersecurity GRC Associate to support governance, risk management, and compliance initiatives across the organization.

 Responsibilities 

Ensure that RightCom’s systems, processes, and operations comply with security standards and regulations while identifying, assessing, and mitigating cybersecurity risks.

🔐 Governance & Policy Management

• Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Ensure alignment with frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, or similar.
• Participate in internal security governance committees and initiatives.

⚠️ Risk Management

• Identify, assess, and monitor cybersecurity risks across systems and processes.
• Maintain risk registers and follow up on mitigation plans.
• Assist in performing risk assessments and security impact analyses.

📜 Compliance & Audits

• Support internal and external audits (ISO, regulatory, client requirements).
• Ensure compliance with data protection laws and industry standards.
• Track compliance metrics and report on security posture.

🛡️ Security Awareness & Training

• Contribute to cybersecurity awareness programs for employees.
• Promote best practices in data protection and secure usage of systems.

📊 Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare reports on risks, compliance status, and security controls.
• Maintain documentation related to policies, procedures, and audits.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of GRC processes.

 Qualifications 

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Risk Management, or related field.
• Experience: 1–3 years in cybersecurity, audit, risk, or compliance roles.
• Knowledge: Understanding of security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, etc.).
• Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of IT systems, networks, and security principles.
• Soft Skills: Analytical mindset, rigor, attention to detail, communication skills.
• Languages: Fluent in English and/or French
