About the position:
Founded in April 2013, RightCom is the leader in customer experience management in Africa. The company, which specializes in cloud-based customer experience (CX) management software, has become a one-stop shop for all customer experience needs, adding management consulting and outsourcing (CX BPO) to its enterprise software suite and a network of distribution agents.
RightCom is recruiting an IT Project Manager to support the deployment of its technological solutions at customer sites and improve the coordination of its internal projects. You will be responsible for the complete management of technical projects, from the scoping phase through to production launch, in liaison with the Product, Development, Support and Delivery teams.
Main mission:
Manage, coordinate and deliver customer and in-house IT projects in line with deadlines, technical requirements and quality expectations.
Key responsibilities :
🧭 IT project management
- Gather and analyze technical requirements in conjunction with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Write functional and technical scoping documents.
- Draw up the project schedule, allocate tasks, monitor milestones and manage priorities.
- Organize and lead follow-up meetings (stand-ups, milestones, steering committee).
👨💻 Technical & functional coordination
- Work closely with developers (frontend, backend, mobile, DevOps).
- Coordinate testing, acceptance phases and production launch.
- Track patch tickets, technical evolutions and delivered versions.
- Validate deliverables with internal or external customers.
📈 Quality monitoring & documentation
- Define success indicators (project KPIs, technical quality, customer satisfaction).
- Maintain complete, up-to-date project documentation.
- Write up minutes and progress reports.
- Identify sticking points and propose rapid solutions.
🤝 Customer relations & support
- Act as the customer’s main contact for IT matters throughout the project cycle.
- Accompany the user during the start-up and initial training phase.
- Gather user feedback and pass it on to the product teams.
- Help build a smooth, responsive and professional project experience.
Profile required:
- Experience: 3 to 5 years in IT project management, in a SaaS environment, software integration or digital transformation.
- Training: Bac+4/5 in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent.
- Good command of project management methods (traditional and agile).
- Ability to interact with technical and non-technical profiles.
- Organization, rigor, cross-functional leadership and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools (Notion, Trello, Jira, ClickUp…) and collaborative tools.
- Fluency in French; technical English a plus.
