At RightCom, the QA Automation Engineer will be primarily responsible for designing and executing automated tests to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our applications. The role involves identifying and helping resolve defects in collaboration with technical teams, contributing to the continuous improvement of quality processes, and integrating testing into deployment pipelines. The QA Automation Engineer will also maintain test automation tools and frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Playwright.
• Collaborate with developers and QA teams to understand application requirements.
• Identify, document, and track software defects.
• Design test plans and test cases.
• Ensure the implementation of best practices in test automation and continuous integration.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Participate in sprint planning and Agile development processes.

Qualifications

• Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience
  • 7+ years of experience in software test automation.
  • Proven experience with Playwright or similar web testing frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
