We are seeking one (1) highly qualified Quality Engineer to join our team. This is a technical role designed for someone capable of looking beyond manual testing to build sustainable, automated, and secure software environments. You will be responsible for the end-to-end quality of our cloud applications, with a specific focus on developing our automation capabilities and ensuring the security of our CX platforms.
Responsibilities
- Automating development:
- Design, develop, and maintain advanced automated testing scripts using Playwright.
- Security and intrusion testing:
- Conduct regular security assessments and penetration testing to identify and remediate vulnerabilities within our cloud infrastructure.
- Performance and load testing:
- Use tools such as JMeter to ensure our platforms can handle high-competition CX environments
- Continuous integration:
- Integrate automated test suites into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure code quality validation at every stage of the development lifecycle.
- Functional and regression testing:
- Collaborate with the broader Quality Assurance team to run comprehensive functional and regression tests, ensuring that new features do not compromise existing system stability.
- Requirements Analysis:
- Working in partnership with developers and stakeholders to analyze business requirements, ensuring that technical specifications are testable and complete.
- Defect lifecycle:
- Document and manage bugs in our tracking system, providing detailed technical feedback to the development team.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- Technical experience: At least 3 years of experience in software test automation and quality engineering.
- Proficiency in frameworks: Proven expertise with Playwright (preferred) or other modern web testing frameworks.
- Primary languages: Excellent proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Security expertise: Hands-on experience with penetration testing and vulnerability assessment methodologies.
- Testing toolkit: Proficiency in Postman (API testing), JMeter (performance testing), and Git (version control).
- Methodology: A strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and the software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Analytical mindset: Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to analyze root causes.
- Communication: Fluency in English and the ability to collaborate effectively within a diverse international team that works primarily remotely.
