The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the high quality standards of our software solutions by carrying out rigorous testing and contributing to the continuous improvement of our development processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute detailed test plans to identify bugs and compatibility issues in our applications.
  • Design, write, implement and execute the various tests (unit, functional, automated) that will validate the quality and proper functioning of a program.
  • Collaborate with the development team to correct defects and improve the product.
  • Document test results and write clear reports for stakeholders.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of quality assurance processes for all phases of the software development cycle.
  • Use bug tracking tools to track issues from identification to resolution.
  • Ensure that all final deliverables meet predefined quality standards.
  • Set up a functionality diagnosis schedule, monitor it and make it accessible to the customer.
  • Create tools for testing and analyzing the results found, with a view to drafting new releases.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in computer science, software engineering or related field.
  • Proven professional experience as a QA analyst or in the software industry.
  • Proven skills in the use of manual and automated testing tools.
  • Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to analyze complex data.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of the software development cycle.
  • Ability to write Python scripts and review other developers’ code to identify bugs.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Organized, meticulous, rigorous, and able to write documentation.
  • You are fluent in English and/or French.
