RightCom is seeking a proactive and self-driven Sales & Operational Marketing Manager for our English-speaking area. Reporting directly to the Regional Managing Director, you will be responsible for driving direct sales growth and implementing marketing strategies.

Responsibilities

Direct Sales and Business Development

  • Personally lead direct sales activities and client outreach
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers in target companies
  • Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets

Team Management and Strategy

  • Lead and motivate a sales and marketing team
  • Develop and execute growth strategies tailored to the Anglophone African market o Identify new market opportunities and strategic partnerships

Operational Marketing

  • Design and implement targeted marketing campaigns for the Anglophone region o Analyze campaign performance and adjust strategies accordingly

Regional Expertise

  • Leverage your in-depth knowledge of markets in Ghana, Nigeria, South Africa, and Tanzania to tailor sales and marketing strategies
  • Navigate effectively through the specific business and cultural contexts of these countries

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in direct sales and B2B marketing, ideally in the technology or SaaS sector English-speaking area in Africa
  • Proven experience in business development
  • Proven experience in developing marketing strategies and corporate communications
  • In-depth knowledge of markets and business practices in Ghana, Nigeria, South Africa,and Tanzania
  • Excellent relationship-building skills and ability to negotiate at a high level
  • Demonstrated team management and inspiring leadership skills
  • Self-driven, proactive, and able to work in a dynamic environment
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of local languages is a plus
  • Availability for frequent travel within the region
  • Ability to draft tender responses
