RightCom is seeking a proactive and self-driven Sales & Operational Marketing Manager for our English-speaking area. Reporting directly to the Regional Managing Director, you will be responsible for driving direct sales growth and implementing marketing strategies.
Responsibilities
Direct Sales and Business Development
- Personally lead direct sales activities and client outreach
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers in target companies
- Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets
Team Management and Strategy
- Lead and motivate a sales and marketing team
- Develop and execute growth strategies tailored to the Anglophone African market o Identify new market opportunities and strategic partnerships
Operational Marketing
- Design and implement targeted marketing campaigns for the Anglophone region o Analyze campaign performance and adjust strategies accordingly
Regional Expertise
- Leverage your in-depth knowledge of markets in Ghana, Nigeria, South Africa, and Tanzania to tailor sales and marketing strategies
- Navigate effectively through the specific business and cultural contexts of these countries
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in direct sales and B2B marketing, ideally in the technology or SaaS sector English-speaking area in Africa
- Proven experience in business development
- Proven experience in developing marketing strategies and corporate communications
- In-depth knowledge of markets and business practices in Ghana, Nigeria, South Africa,and Tanzania
- Excellent relationship-building skills and ability to negotiate at a high level
- Demonstrated team management and inspiring leadership skills
- Self-driven, proactive, and able to work in a dynamic environment
- Fluency in English; knowledge of local languages is a plus
- Availability for frequent travel within the region
- Ability to draft tender responses
