Compliance
RightCom deploys the general requirements set forth by many international acts, including the French Data Protection Act No. 78-17 of 6 January 1978, as amended by the Act of 6 August 2004.
Data Transmission
RightCom uses Transport Layer Security (TLS) encryption (also known as HTTPS) for all transmitted data.
Data Center Security
Customer data is stored in a specific location; it does not “float around” in a cloud. Our dedicated servers are co-located in cloud-based architecture within the EU, in France.
Dedicated Server Location
Customers using any of RightCom’s enterprise plans can choose the physical location of their dedicated cloud server and host their data in any part of the world. This is especially important for complying with data privacy rules and related location requirements.
Security Audit
Our in-house Security Operations Center performs regular scans to detect any kind of vulnerability of publicly available interfaces. We prioritise and resolve all reported issues in the shortest possible time.
Network Security
RightCom’s outside routing layer provides basic filtering to handle and manage any potential DoS (denial-of-service) attacks. Our servers are configured to allow only the absolute minimum level of access needed to maintain them.
