Celtiis is the state-owned telecom operator in Benin Republic. The company launched its operations in 2022 with the ambition of disrupting the market. Celtiis was looking for a business partner to build a scalable agent network in a very short period of time. The agent network will help the telecom company rapidly grow from few points of presence to cover every corner of the territory while providing access to essential services such as airtime, cash-in/cash-out, mobile data and VAS.
RightCom was selected as a multi-service partner. Our team was able to recruit, train and organize over 6,000 agents within 2 months right on time for Celtiis’ official launch. With our data-driven approach, we understood at early stage how to organize the field force in order to maximize customer acquisition and product sales. We put a strong emphasis on continuous agent training as well merchandising to build strong relationships with all stakeholders.
Celtiis has been able to cover the territory in terms of point of sales thanks to RightCom. The company exceeded its SIM sales target the first quarter of operations and continue to grow the revenue, product adoption and market share.
